Inna Shamis Lapin is a communications specialist with over 15 years experience in Public Relations, Marketing Communications, Business Development and Client Management – working with some of the world’s most recognized brands like Vogue, Elle Décor, Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon & Spa, CBS, Planet Hollywood, Hilton Hotels, Splenda/Johnson & Johnson, Danskin, Sprint PCS, Trident, Dentyne, Bubblicious, Cadbury Adams/Cadbury Schweppes, Crunch Fitness and Cendant.
Following a formative career in Corporate America, Inna founded AvantGarde Communications Group in 2005, and today is integrally involved with each and every client at the agency. She retains an active, hands-on approach with every client’s PR, branding and marketing strategies – be it securing media coverage, negotiating an endorsement deal, or identifying a new business opportunity.
Since founding the agency, Inna has played an instrumental role in building awareness for emerging brands like Annie Hammer Jewelry, Om Aroma & Co., Flashionista, Measure Up, Celebrity Catwalk, Yanina & Co., BOBO Wrap, Lyziwraps, KC Tees and Solaris Health System; along with TV personalities like Lizzie Parker, David Good, Natalie Getz, Jesse Csincsak, Paige Duke, Michael ‘Flex Dean, and Michael Stagliano; author/life stylist Jennifer Tuma Young, and media personality/author Sujeiry Gonzalez.
She is a passionate educator and connector, and is often invited to speak and comment about the PR, marketing and media industry, and its changing landscape. Inna has been featured on the radio and in a number of media outlets, was instrumental in helping publish the first CRAVE New York City guide, is an author of Big Bold Business Advice from New Jersey Women Business Owners, and currently sits on the Advisory Board of Retail Minded Magazine, and on the Femfessionals Hoboken Boards of Advisors as the Public Relations Chair.
